Emails on Hillary Clinton's Server 'Too Damaging' to Ever Release

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said that with the latest revelations, "Hillary Clinton has removed all doubt that she can not be trusted with the presidency".

Hillary Clinton's private, home server contained 22 emails with information that the government has classified as "top secret," the Associated Press reported Friday, just days before the first votes are cast in the presidential nomination.

"Our job is simply to live up to the court requirement to release these e-mails according to the freedom of information act requirements" Secretary of State John Kerry said.

The State department is now probing whether the documents were classified at the time of being emailed, Kirby confirmed.

The State Department and the intelligence agencies have been wrangling over the email review ever since McCulloch, acting on the request of Republican members of Congress, objected last summer to the release of some emails that intelligence officials had claimed included classified information.

But, she's concerned about her family in Panama, where there are growing concerns about the Zika virus and pregnant women there. The CDC states there is not a known treatment or vaccine for the virus, but says the best thing to do is practice prevention .

"This appears to be over-classification run amok", the campaign said in statement. "We will pursue all appropriate avenues to see that her e-mails are released in a manner consistent with her call last year", he added, referring to her remarks last year calling on the State Department to make public all her messages.

Thousands of emails have already been released by the State Department, but this is the first time her messages have been labelled top secret.

Government finds 'top secret' info in Clinton emails
Her campaign on Friday questioned the secrecy of the messages and called for the State Department to release them. Department officials wouldn't describe the substance of the emails or say whether Clinton sent any herself.

Kirby, however, claimed the 22 email documents had not be identified as classified information when they were sent out through Clinton's private clintonemail.com email account through her private server located at her residence in NY.

State Department officials are checking whether any of the material was actually classified at the time it passed through her server, but Clinton has repeatedly said she did not send or receive any such classified material.

Department officials would not describe the substance of the emails or say if Mrs Clinton sent any herself. The mishandling over the classified intelligence may lead to an imminent indictment, with DiGenova suggesting it may come to a head within 60 days. Friday's announcement from the State Department should worry any Democrat who thought this issue might fade into obscurity any time soon. Dianne Feinstein (D) of California defended Clinton, saying that if certain of the classified e-mails did not originate with her, then she should not be held responsible for others' actions. Independent experts say it's unlikely Clinton will be charged with wrongdoing, based on details that have surfaced so far and the lack of indications she meant to break laws.

Reports on Friday had linked McGeady with a move to Spanish giants Sevilla, where his former Spartak Moscow coach Unai Emery is in charge.

However, Levin said, the bar to filing such charges is high: Federal prosecutors would have to prove that Clinton knew she was discussing classified information, even if it wasn't marked as classified at the time. "If it was classified at the time, then the question is whether she knew it was". "But even the Democratic Party, I would find it hard to believe that they would be eager to nominate someone who is under indictment and could well face felony incarceration".
